Purpose of the Job

We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead the Design and Users Relations team for the design and implementation of advanced broadcast-related infrastructure. This position leverages experience with facility design, which is used for accommodating broadcast operations at international sports events, in-depth knowledge of CAD and BIM software, and familiarity with AI tools to drive innovation and efficiency. The Senior Architect will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration of new technologies, fostering a collaborative team environment, and maintaining strong relationships with the end users of the various facilities to meet their needs and enhance overall satisfaction.

Main Duties

Design related activities

• Lead and mentor a team of architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Liaise with users to identify requirements guiding the design and planning of scalable and robust broadcast architectures.
• Capture relevant requirements by maintaining supportive technical notes.
• Utilise CAD and BIM software to develop architectural plans and models.
• Develop commercial propositions for external Clients by applying consistent rate card models.
• Explore and implement AI tools to enhance workflows and work efficiency.
• Develop workplace designs while ensuring compliance to standard working regulations.
• Ensure workplace designs deliver excellent working and performance standards.
• Resolve technical design-related details with innovative and practical solutions.
• Adapt existing designs to integrate modifications inherent to the evolving needs of the project and its users
• Prepare visual material to help engage project stakeholders
• Support in all design-related aspects of the projects, such as decoration and signage concept
• Conduct site inspections for quality and design control
• Ensure delivery accuracy through tight coordination of Design and Users Relation team with the teams overseas responsible for project implementation.
• Conduct on-site progress monitoring to guarantee successful integration of user requirements.

Position Relevant Skills

Competencies

• Proven experience as a Senior Architect or in a similar role, ideally related to broadcast operations at international sports events.
• Extensive knowledge of CAD and BIM software.
• Familiarity with AI tools and their applications in architectural design.

Skills

• Loves working with people from different nationalities, languages and cultural backgrounds
• AutoCAD and Office applications, as well as knowledge of Revit
• English proficiency – verbal and writing – other languages are a plus

Education & Experience

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or similar
• Five to ten years of experience in workplace design, detailing of interior fittings and/or architectural design
• Demonstrated ability to lead multicultural teams
