You’ve probably watched a football game at some point in your life. Well, if it was a FIFA World CupTM match, it was likely filmed and produced by the HBS team. HBS is involved in the production of many events across the globe, most notably the FIFA World CupTM 2026, Rugby World Cup 2027 and the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027TM.

Purpose

The Special Projects team is in charge of medium-sized events, such as Ice Hockey (IIHF), EHF Men & Women Handball EURO and more. As part of our Special Projects team, you’ll be at the heart of coordinating logistics and ensuring that our production teams have everything they need to deliver world-class broadcasts.

You’ll be working on diverse projects, each bringing its own unique challenges and opportunities for growth.

Main Activities/Responsibilities (Primary Role of the Job)

Project Management & Coordination

  • Lead multiple concurrent logistics projects while supervising assistant(s)
  • Manage end-to-end project logistics, including timeline and budget oversight
  • Create and maintain comprehensive tracking systems across all logistics aspects

Travel & Accommodation Management

  • Source and secure optimal travel arrangements, accommodations and ground transportation
  • Research and evaluate solutions in various locations, ensuring the best value for money
  • Coordinate with suppliers and maintain strong relationships

Event Support & Services

  • Oversee uniform distribution and management
  • Coordinate catering services for various events
  • Manage workshop logistics and special requirements

Documentation & Financial Control

  • Maintain detailed Excel-based tracking systems
  • Process invoices and manage budget adherence

Position Relevant Skills (Education/Work Experience/IT)

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven logistics experience, particularly in travel arrangements
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent written and spoken English
