Position Details

- Type of Contract: Two years until the end of the FIFA World Cup 2026TM – with a possibility to extend depending on the expansion of the U.S. business
Purpose
Supporting the General Counsel, the Legal Counsel contributes to the day-to-day operations of the department.
He/she is responsible for coordinating the contractual process of the sports event delivered by HBS in the U.S.
He/she provides admin, legal support and expertise on corporate matters and event-time operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Reviewing of suppliers’ contracts, drafting, negotiating and/or reviewing various services contracts, consultancy contracts, non-disclosure agreements, partnership agreements, etc.
- Management of corporate documents for HBS entities in the U.S. in collaboration with law firms
- Monitoring events’ contractual processes with other departments and informing the General Counsel about incoming contracts (Procurement tool)
- Responsible for non-event related contracts (day-to-day contracts)
- Assistance of the General Counsel in insurance matters
- Assistance of the Head of Legal for GDPR and Compliance matters
Position Relevant Skills (Education/Work/Experience/IT)
- Higher education, Business Law Degree with good general knowledge
- First experience in a law firm or company
- Between three and five years of experience
- Mature person with high integrity and ready to work in an international environment
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Windows Applications, especially Word and Excel
