Purpose

The Infrastructure & Support Coordinator assists the IT Projects Manager in ensuring that HBS Corporate infrastructure and hardware function according to corporate standards. This role provides support to all Core Team and Planning Team users.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver user support across all IT matters, including:
    • General office IT services (network, servers, printers, mobile telephony, access control, and overall security)
    • Management of end-user hardware lifecycle (inventory, deployment, maintenance, renewal)
    • Level 1 and 2 support through Zendesk, ensuring the support team stays updated on in-house solutions
    • Assist in project preparation and execution for local (US-based) events, collaborating with the IT Projects Manager and the French team on hardware setup and support
    • Maintain internal corporate procedures and guidelines
    • Welcome and train new employees on IT procedures, hardware, and systems
    • Engage in discussions about Microsoft 365 products and services related to workstation management, staying informed about upcoming features
    • Provide regular reports and status updates to the IT Projects Manager on assigned tasks and overall IT conditions
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective project completion

Position Relevant Skills (Education/Work/Experience/IT)

Technical skills:

  • Minimum of two years experience in IT infrastructure and user support, preferably in a similar role (supporting user and hardware needs for Dell and HP laptops, Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft 365)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 standard applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Familiarity with end-user hardware management in Microsoft 365 (Autopilot, Intune enrollment/management)

Soft Skills:

  • Self-motivated, organised, and detail-oriented, with a willingness to learn new skills and technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Proactive work attitude

Required Languages

  • English fluent (Spoken & Written)

  • Occasional Travel (Event Time)
